Meet Stuart!

Location: Australia

Stuart is a determined small business owner in Australia. He works together with Avon which is a world wide company that sells beauty products, house hold items and personal care. What they do? Deliver the best products at a reasonable price. His business caters for both Men and Women of all ages. Stuart started this business 2 months ago & hopes it will flourish into a company. Though he has just started his journey through business, he is quite determined to work hard and make it his own.

He wanted to start up a business so he didn't have to work the crazy hours and can work whenever he wants. By owning his own business, this will allows him to be flexible & wouldn't have to report to a boss for some time off because he will be his own boss. Another reason why he ventured out into starting a business is to bring extra income to his house hold & by setting up a business on the side, it has helped him out alot.

"What inspired Stuart to start?"

He got inspired by a friend who was also in the business together with Avon. Stuart thought it was a waste of time at first but now has seen changes when he took on the opportunity & his thoughts have completely changed around. By working together with Avon in providing their products to customers, it has become less stressful for him as it was an easier way of getting extra income. I mean, we all could use a little extra right? Especially with these holidays coming up!

I asked Stuart if he had any advice for anyone who is looking into a similar business or looking at starting a business?

He responded with:

"I just want to inspire other people to stick with what you want to do in life & never give up."

Thank you Stuart, for your time & your support! I wish you best of luck with your endeavours & always remember, the sky's the limit!

Would you leave anyone behind?

I once knew a boy who came from a broken home. My family & I took him in. Surely, he didn't have the stable home or upbringing we had but we still saw the good in him. We've shown him many things & have taught him things he didn't understand at first. He's now on his own, working and doing well for himself.

We're in this journey through life together, we may be on different paths but we're all striving for something, mostly happiness. Let's help one another get there.

Does he/she treat you like a DOORMAT?

Wednesday, 23 November 2016

Being nice is free. But people often mistake that trait as weakness and start abusing it. Some may not even know they're taking advantage of you and some purposely do it. But stand up for yourself. If you know it doesn't feel right OR you've had enough - SPEAK UP.
It doesn't mean that you're a mean person when you tell someone what you disagree with, it just means that you know exactly how you should be treated. YOU MATTER. Don't be afraid to use your voice. Take a step back and really look at the bigger picture. Violence isn't the way to solve things. If you lose your friendship or relationship over you standing up for yourself, tell yourself that it's okay. There are more brilliant people out there waiting for your company. Don't be a doormat because each of us are meant to be treated well as long as we also treat others well.

It has started! Something exciting!

Monday, 14 November 2016

So since the beginning of this year, I've literally wanted to do something that I've been thinking of doing for YEARS. I guess in a way, I've had other things I had to do first before I can get this underway & today, well I just got started on this new project which was longggg overdue! But it was successful. With the help of a mentor, I'm actually quite excited! Only a few people know of what is in the works but the rest of you will find out, once it's finished. All I can say is that once this project of mine is completed, I will be one proud mommy & wife!

For anyone who's been wanting to start something but don't know where to start? Do your research. It helps spending at least an hour on the internet looking up all the knowledge you can get to push your goals of what you wish to accomplish. Ask people, having contacts or getting in contact with people is another great way to get some answers or directions of where you should go. Believe in yourself , you can't get to where you want to be if you don't believe in YOU. Last but not least, START! Each dream or goal starts by a single step.

Being happy is a CHOICE.

Friday, 4 November 2016

There are many people I come across that think in order for them to be happy, they must do.... and then they start naming their list. Okay, I don't know how that works? But I personally think it doesn't. While you are awaiting for certain events or what not, you're wasting time. You're letting another day go by. In order to be happy, YOU have to CHOOSE to be happy. No one has a perfect life, everyone has their own battles, struggles etc but if you can still see the light at the end of the tunnel, you have a reason to be happy. It all has to do with your mindset. Just because you see someone's always happy, it doesn't mean their life is perfect? No, it just means that even if there is so much happening (which majority of the time, there is) they CHOOSE to be happy and not let it get to them. It means that they understand that though life gets tough, it isn't worth being worried & upset about things that weigh them down. It's about being optimistic even through the times where it feels like being positive is the last thing you can be. Wake up & just be happy & smile. Listen to a cheerful song or surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. Don't go searching for happiness or wait for it. You create happiness yourself.

What are YOU grateful for?

Wednesday, 2 November 2016

Some people whinge more about what they wish they had instead of being grateful for what they already HAVE. You will see your daily miracles, if you focus more on what you have infront of you already. I don't live a perfect life nor do I try to - as I'm bound to make mistakes here and there (after all, I am human) but it's how I see life that makes me extremely happy every day. Even if I had a pretty crappy morning, it necessarily doesn't stop me from having a crappy day. Waking up with a grateful heart does wonders or even taking a break and appreciating every thing around you. So what are YOU grateful for? Embrace that. Live it. Don't waste a moment being angry and envious of what you don't have BUT start by being grateful for what you do have!

Where do you see yourself?

Wednesday, 26 October 2016

When I was a teenager, I remember what I said to myself. I was going to graduate highschool, get a job, travel at least to a different country then be married & settle down by 25 (because 25 seemed like a halfway mark) That was my future goal that I had set just before I graduated in 2007. Did I accomplish those goals? Well.... kinda. Hahaha. I graduated highschool, I went straight into work & managed to get promoted to management. I did travel to America to visit family & have a little vacation. I gave birth to a bright little boy at 24 years old & I had just recently gotten married at 26. I just missed the age 25 mark but all that was said, was done. I am quite pleased with how far I have gotten with goals I had set then. Now I'm on to bigger goals that I wish to accomplish with my little family as well as individual goals I have set for myself.

Setting goals does help in many ways. It's a great way to see how far you can go in life with what you wish to accomplish. It's also great for self improvement.  I'm not saying I'm the best at setting goals because believe me, I have times I slack off but this is merely to state, that if you wish to accomplish things, start by setting out your short term & long term goals. It could be anything you want, whether it be health, spiritual, peronal or even work related goals. You will find that having goals makes things easier for you & once you have reached your goal, there's no greater feeling, than feeling accomplished.

Why living positively helps with day to day living.

Friday, 21 October 2016

Everyone at some point gets to that stage where they feel down about things, whether it's appearance or struggles we all face. We get to that stage where we hate ourselves or the world. But instead of focusing so much on the things that aren't working out or the things we're not happy with, why not substitute that mindset for a more grateful one. Why not wake up determined to get through the day instead of worrying about what's going on? Why not wake up grateful that your family is still there? or even that you woke up at all?

When you start changing your mindset and start looking at your blessings rather than your problems, you'll begin to see changes, in a way, where you are able to stress less on certain issues that were weighing you down before. Now, we're not going to talk depth in religion because this is a topic which always gets a lot of hate on BUT if you're not a firm believer in God, why not have an open mind to those who want to share their beliefs with you? I find that, my faith and learning about God and his son Jesus Christ plays a big part in why my attitude towards life, is the way it is. Why I have tackled down the hardest of trials and live to tell the story. I find that having a connection with the Spiritual side to things is what helped me maintain the positive attitude knowing there was a higher power who watches over me & protects me. I know there will be some people who will disagree with my point of view & I respect that. The main message I am trying to get out, is to think positive no matter how hard the situation is or how hard life is. Be open minded. Train your mind to see good in all things. Have faith & even if you're not a church go-er, just pray. You won't know the power of it, unless you try :)
